现任交互式发展部主任,主要研究方向大数据分析、可视化、智能交互等,近年承担国家重点研发计划课题、国家重大科技基础设施项目、中科院重点部署和信息化专项课题及先导子课题等,在国内外可视化领域重要期刊和会议发表学术论文60余篇。曾获部级科技奖一等奖。

主持研发GPVis可视化框架软件,支撑国家/地方重大工程建设,如国家重大科技基础设施-地球系统数值模拟装置、上海天文馆(全球最大天文馆)-天文数字实验室、中科院先导A地球大数据科学工程等

培养的研究生曾获中科院院长奖学金、国家奖学金、北京市优秀毕业生等荣誉称号
